Drive Green with Ford Focus! As a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV)2 in California emissions states, Focus is as eco-responsible as the best hybrids, meaning it maintains near-zero fuel system evaporative discharge and meets Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEV) requisites. For all other states, Focus is still ultra-clean running − it yields a mere 20% of the hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions of an Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (ULEV). Chew on this: Grilling 1 burger (meat or veggie) emits more hydrocarbon emissions than a Focus PZEV does on a 3-hour road trip. |
Breath Easy with the Ford Edge! The dual-plenum intake manifold inside Edge's powerful 3.5L Duratec 35 V6 engine helps deliver strong peak torque (250lb.-ft at 4500 rpm), while the high-flow intake port helps achieve its high level of peak power performance(265 hp at 6250 rpm). At the same time, a roller-chain cam drive, chosen for its low-friction operation, helps Edge meet Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle II (ULEV II) standards. ![]() Minimizing Our Impact! The 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid not only drives greener, it's built greener! The Escape hybrid is produced under a carbon offset program, a claim no other hybrid manufacturer can make. By funding U.S. based renewable clean energy projects (such as wind-powered energy) that reduce emissions elsewhere, Ford offsets greenhouse gases at its Kansas City plant by the same amount released during the manufacture of each 2008 Escape Hybrid! ![]() |
Ford has made it easy to drive Green with the 2008 Model Line-Up.
We currently have several Escape Hybrids available.
